THOMAS JOSEPH STASZEWSKI, 1946-2007

Tom Staszewski passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at his home in Blackwood, NJ. He was 61 years of age.

Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA, raised in Blackwood, NJ, and, as an adult, lived in Palmyra, NJ, before moving back to Blackwood in 2004. He was a mortgage consultant for PHH Mortgage Solutions in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Tom was a musician and highly regarded by his peers for his drumming ability. Performing in the area since the 1960s, he played with groups such as the X-Ceptions, Cats, the Pepper Band, and, most recently, Bob Campanell.

Tom is survived by his wife Susan 'Suzy' (nee March); four (4) sons — Thomas, Justin, Adam, and Owen; mother Anna Snyder; step-mother Margaret Staszewski; mother-in-law Thelma March; two (2) sisters — Janis Valotta and Terry Benson; five brothers (5) brothers — Joseph and Mark Staszewski, Daniel and Bobby Friend, and John Snyder; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing was held on Sunday, July 29, from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Mt. Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ. The funeral service and burial were private.
