EDWARD WLODARCZYK 1946-2012

Edward Wlodarczyk passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, after a short stay in the hospital. He was 66 years of age.

Ed was born on June 14, 1946, in South Jersey. He was raised on Andrea Road in Runnemede, NJ, and he was living in his childhood home with his mother at the time of his death.

After high school, Ed went to Rutgers Camden and then to the U.S. Naval Academy. He studied engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He will always be remembered for his love of baseball and his great pitching arm.

Ed is survived by his mother, Anna M. Wlodarczyk, and some cousins. His sister, Janet, died in 1971.

Viewings were held on Monday evening, November 26, 2012, from 7:00-9:00 pm, and on Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012, from 10:30-11:30 am at the Gardner Funeral Home, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ. The funeral service was held at the funeral home at 11:30 am following the Tuesday morning viewing. Burial was in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ, where his father is buried.
